Follow the Love

From Budapest to Etyek and back, we’ve got you covered — everything you need to know for easy, stress-free travel so you can focus on the fun, not the logistics.

Drive

It’s an easy 30–40 minute drive from Budapest to Etyek, with plenty of parking. For a carefree evening, stay the night in Etyek or book a chauffeur service in advance – but no driving once the bubbles start flowing.

Taxi

For the most comfortable and stress-free trip from Budapest to Etyek, take a Bolt or Uber. It’s about 30 minutes, around EUR 40, and vans are available for up to 6 people — perfect to share with friends.

Local Bus

For a greener option, local transit is super easy: take bus 760 from Kelenföld station straight to Etyek. It runs about once an hour, takes around 45 minutes, costs roughly EUR 3, and drops you off right in front of the church.

Night Shuttle

To get you home safe and sound, we’re arranging group shuttles from BudaPrés Cider to your cosy stays in Etyek. If you’re staying in Budapest instead, we can arrange shuttles to the city center on demand — just let us know in your RSVP.

Where Dreams Continue

We highly recommend staying in Etyek so you can party freely. We’ve asked the guesthouses listed here to hold a few rooms, so don’t worry if they look full online — just let us know in your RSVP and we’ll share info on how to book. Most are within a 10-minute walk of the bus stop and church. Spaces are limited, so the sooner you tell us, the better!

Rókusfalvy Inn

A charming inn in the heart of Etyek with rustic rooms, fresh homemade breakfast and our family-favourite restaurant perfect for sunset dinners.

7 Csepp

A cosy countryside guesthouse, surrounded by greenery with cosy rooms, bbq, jacuzzi, sauna and a peaceful vegetable garden. Perfect to slow down and enjoy the village atmosphere.

Völgy Vendégház

A friendly, no-fuss guesthouse right on Etyek's main square next to the church with everything you need for a good night's rest.

Hotel Flamingó

Cozy wine-country spot, with simple modern rooms, a large garden and a small wellness area for unwinding after a long day.

B&B by Mo

Cozy, cute rooms with breakfast in a traditional Hungarian farmhouse run by a warm Dutch family, just a short stroll from Etyek's Wine Street.

Budapest

If you prefer to stay in Budapest, we recommend booking a hotel in the city center for easy transport. There are plenty of options to choose from.

Your Presence

Having you there with us – your hugs, your laughter, and your legendary dance moves – is truly the best gift we could ask for.

Since we’re flying home with just one suitcase (and the airline is less generous than you are), we can’t really bring physical gifts back with us.

If you still feel moved to gift us something, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us kick off our next adventure together. We promise to spend it on experiences, not souvenirs!

On the day, there’ll also be a little gift-box corner – anything that fits into an envelope will slip in perfectly and will make us two very happy honeymooners.
